In the fourth episode of Hakawatyah segment in the second season, the young Bisan takes us on a journey to explore Gaza International Airport. The ownership and management of the airport belong to the Palestinian National Authority, where it was built in 1996 and opened for flights in 1998.
It covers an area of over 2350 dunams and was designed to accommodate 750,000 passengers per year. The airport was designed in such a way to create an artistic architectural masterpiece that reflects the ancient identity of Jerusalem, featuring mosaics and the golden dome.
