The “From Here We Start” program received complaints from the residents of Al-Quweira District, which is administratively affiliated with the Aqaba Governorate. Its population is more than 23,000 people distributed across 17 residential communities in areas on both sides of the desert road extending from Amman to Aqaba. It suffers from challenges and problems represented in the sectors of youth, unemployment, education, customs, tourism, and infrastructure. The district is considered a global tourist and commercial area, where Wadi Rum and Aqaba Special Economic Zone are located, but it is a map of development and production. In the midst of unemployment, the village of Al-Shaiba, which is affiliated with the Al-Quweira district, received a promise that includes the implementation of a tunnel to protect the residents from the evil of accidents, but it has not been implemented for more than 15 years.
