Sami experiences a deep state of depression after learning of his ex-fiancée"s engagement. He shuts himself in his room, refusing to talk or go out, surrounded by clutter and the classic tools of grief: dark clothes, a box of tissues, and an untouched tray of food. Murad and Zeina try creative ways to lift him out of his depression, from a prank with an imaginary mouse to game night sessions, but to no avail. Sami responds to all these attempts with excessive pessimism and philosophical commentary on the absurdity of life.
Meanwhile, Karim faces a major challenge when he is asked to deliver an important speech in the presence of the Minister of Education. He seeks Abu Salem"s help, but he only complicates the situation with his sarcastic interventions.
