**For Boiling:**

- 1.5 kg cleaned octopus- Boiling water- 1 onion- Half a head of garlic- Half a lemon- 2 carrots- Whole black peppercorns- Bay leaves- Onion powder- Garlic powder

**Octopus Marinade:**

- 1 clove of grated garlic- 2 teaspoons of fresh grated ginger- 3 teaspoons of soy sauce- 2 teaspoons of sweet soy sauce- Chili paste- 1 teaspoon of MSG (optional)- 2 tablespoons of flour- Cornstarch or potato starch for coating- Oil for frying

**Serve with your favorite sauce.**
