The son of Egyptian singer Mohamed Tharwat has raised concern among fans and followers after revealing that his father suffered a health crisis that required his admission to a hospital to undergo an urgent surgical procedure, asking everyone to pray for his speedy recovery and safe passage through the health ordeal.

Ahmed Tharwat posted a photo of his father on his official Facebook account, accompanied by an emotional message expressing his deep concern over the artist’s health condition, saying: Your prayers for my father, the engineer and artist Mohamed Tharwat. He is now in the operating room undergoing surgery. We ask God to make it go well, God willing.

He added in his prayer for his father: O God, grant him a healing that leaves no illness, protect him with Your ever-watchful eye, grant him complete health and wellness, and restore him safe and reassured. We ask you to pray for his quick recovery and for him to return to us in the best health.

The son of the veteran artist did not clarify the reason behind his father’s urgent surgery.
