A video spread like wildfire across social media after scenes circulated showing actress Marwa Abdel Monem while preparing to film a new TV program episode, before the calm moments turned into chaos following a sudden attack by a lion cub inside the studio, shocking viewers and social media users.

The actress revealed details of her injury to the shoulder caused by a lion cub bite during the filming of a television program. She explained that the episode’s theme was about how to deal with wild animals, which is why a lion trainer was invited, bringing a cub into the studio.

In press statements, she added that while playing with the cub before filming, it suddenly attacked her, causing injuries to her arm and shoulder. She was immediately transferred to the hospital for treatment, where she received rabies preventive injections. She confirmed that doctors reassured her the injury was not serious, although it required necessary medical procedures. She later left the hospital and returned home in stable condition, thanking everyone who checked on her after the news spread.

A widely circulated video showed Marwa inside the guest room preparing for filming, attempting to interact with the lion cub assigned for the segment, before the situation suddenly escalated, leading her to scream in pain as those present rushed to pull the animal away and she was later taken to the hospital.
