Jordanian singer Hossam Al-Silawi has returned to the spotlight after posting a lengthy statement on Instagram, in which he issued a public apology for some of his recent remarks and said he is suffering from a neurological condition affecting his actions and perception.

He expressed regret over several statements and behaviors he made recently, stressing that they do not reflect his true beliefs or personality.

He added that his condition has affected his perception, leading to hallucinations and unrealistic thoughts, which in turn impacted his mental balance and his ability to control some of his reactions and ideas during the past period.
