Latifa expresses deep sorrow over the death of Hany Shaker Latifa: May God have mercy on you and forgive you

Tunisian artist Latifa expressed her shock and deep sorrow, announcing a three-day mourning period and suspending all her artistic activities during this time.

Latifa mourned the late artist through her official Instagram account, where she shared his photo accompanied by touching words, praying for his mercy and forgiveness, expressing his great place in her heart, and confirming that she has entered a state of mourning over his passing.

This comes amid a wave of grief that has swept the Arab artistic scene since the announcement of Hany Shaker’s death, who passed away last Sunday in the French capital, Paris, at the age of 73 after a battle with illness.

The funeral prayer is scheduled to take place after the noon prayer on Wednesday at the Police Mosque in 6th of October City, with condolences to be received on Thursday, in the presence of a wide gathering of artists and admirers bidding him farewell.
