Dahrouj also mourned the late artist, describing his passing as a great loss to Egyptian and Arab art, noting that Hany Shaker was one of the most prominent voices that shaped the emotions of generations across the Arab world, leaving behind an artistic and human legacy that is difficult to replicate or replace.

According to media reports, the funeral is scheduled for Wednesday, May 6, with the burial ceremony to take place in Cairo after the arrival of the body from France, in the presence of family members, artists, and fans.
