Egyptian actress Samira Ahmed revealed details of a sudden incident she experienced while sitting inside a club, after a metal pole suddenly fell on her head, causing a deep wound that required urgent surgery amid concerns over her health condition.

The actress confirmed that the incident was extremely serious and could have been fatal, had it not been for God’s protection and the timely intervention of the medical team, reassuring her fans that her condition is now stable after receiving necessary treatment.

In her account of what happened, Samira Ahmed said the incident occurred completely unexpectedly while she was sitting in the club, explaining: “I was there normally when a metal pole from an advertising sign suddenly fell on my head without any warning, and I did not realize what happened until I was on my way to the hospital in severe exhaustion.”

She added that upon arrival at the hospital, she underwent detailed examinations and scans that revealed a deep cut wound in the head, which required immediate surgical intervention to close and stitch the wound.

Samira Ahmed noted that her psychological condition was very difficult after the incident due to the pain and visible effects of the injury, adding that she is now waiting for the removal of stitches after ensuring proper healing of the wound.

This incident comes at a time when the actress had previously sparked controversy after commenting on statements by actress Wafaa Sadiq regarding the series “A Woman from the Time of Love,” clarifying that she had no role in her departure from the work, and explaining that the withdrawal decision at the time was due to a misunderstanding between Wafaa Sadiq and director Ismail Abdel Hafez, not any involvement from her side.

She added that throughout her artistic career, she has focused solely on her acting roles without interfering in casting decisions, stressing that this is well known about her in the artistic community.
