The artist Maher Zain has announced his strong return to the music scene with the release of his long-awaited fourth album titled Back To You, marking his first full album release in nearly ten years, according to the producing company based in London on Thursday, April 30, 2026.
This new release comes after a long career filled with global successes through widely popular songs such as “Mercy to the Worlds” and “My Heart Is in Medina.” The album features 16 songs that reflect a clear artistic evolution, blending Arabic and English lyrics with diverse musical styles ranging from Western and Arab influences to North African sounds.
Speaking about the concept of the album, Maher Zain explained that the title Back To You carries a deep spiritual meaning, saying the idea revolves around returning to God, sincerity, and the true essence of what gives life its value. He noted that the project reflects his personal journey and spiritual and artistic maturity over recent years.
Regarding the release strategy, the album followed a gradual rollout that began three months earlier with 11 songs, including: Take My Hand, Habibi, Ya Muhammad, Qamar, Allah Ya Allah, Sallu, Yama Yama, Al-Hawd, Yawm Al-Eid, Da’iman Wa Abadan, and Never Let Me Down, all of which received strong audience engagement.
Today, the album is completed with five new songs: A Beautiful Story, Queen of Our Deen, Thank You, I Could’ve Been You, and Not Ready To Die, forming a fully diverse international musical project.
The album was developed through international writing camps held in Morocco, Turkey, Sweden, and Indonesia, with participation from a wide range of writers, composers, and producers, including Mehdi Mazzin, Redouane El Diry, Samir Moujari, Mohammed El Maghribi, as well as producers Madara and Rachid Mohammed Ali from Morocco, Mustafa Ceceli and Emre Mulkos from Turkey, along with Yemeni poet Ahmed Al-Yafai, Saudi poet Ajlan Thabet, artist Harris J, and writer Baraa Al-Khuraiji.
Executive producer Baraa Al-Khuraiji stated that the album was designed as a complete musical experience, giving each song its own space, praising Maher Zain as one of the most influential artists with a strong spiritual and cultural presence worldwide.
