Death of young man Jaafar Al-Assasfeh following a vehicle rollover in Karak “Accident caused by loss of control of the vehicle”

In a tragic accident that shook the Karak governorate and brought scenes of sorrow back to the forefront, young man Jaafar Al-Assasfeh died after his vehicle overturned and collided with a lighting pole on the Karak–Lajoun road, in a heartbreaking incident that occurred on Tuesday morning.

The news spread rapidly across social media platforms, leaving a wide shock among relatives and friends, as online platforms were flooded with sorrowful posts and many pages were covered in black in a painful farewell to a young man known among his community for his good morals and reputation.

With heartbreaking words, relatives and friends of the deceased mourned him, recalling his qualities and humanitarian actions, and expressing deep grief over his sudden passing, which came at an unexpected moment.

“Loss of control of the vehicle”

According to the Traffic Department in its daily report, the body was transferred to Prince Ali Military Hospital in Karak Governorate. Initial findings indicate that the accident occurred due to loss of control of the vehicle, which led to its overturning and collision with a roadside lighting pole.

The region was engulfed in grief following the announcement of the death, in a painful scene reflecting the harshness of the moment and the suddenness of loss, amid prayers for mercy

His cousin wrote on her Facebook page: “There is no power nor strength except with Allah, the Most High, the Almighty. To Allah we belong and to Him we shall return. The one whose youth is mourned has passed away… my cousin Jaafar Bassam Al-Assasfeh. O Allah, have mercy on him, forgive him, and grant his youth in Paradise, O Lord. Please convey my greetings to my brother Bashar, Jaafar.”

She continued: “May Allah reunite us with you in the gardens of bliss… patience and comfort come only from You, O Allah… oh heartbreak, my brother and my cousin, oh heartbreak.”for the deceased and patience and solace for his family and loved ones.
