A state of anxiety and anticipation prevails in the artistic community and among fans of Egyptian artist Hany Shaker, amid increasing prayers for his speedy recovery, following the circulation of conflicting reports about his health condition, while official statements continue to deny any improvement so far.

In this context, the Egyptian Musicians Syndicate categorically denied any improvement in the health condition of artist Hany Shaker, in response to statements made by the head of the Egyptian community in France, Saad Saleh Farhoud, who indicated positive developments in his condition.

The spokesperson for the syndicate, artist Nadia Mostafa, explained in a post on her Facebook account that the information mentioned by Farhoud during a phone call on a television program was “completely inaccurate,” stressing that what has been circulated is not based on any reliable sources.

“Personal interpretations”

She added that what the head of the Egyptian community in France stated is nothing more than personal interpretations, stressing that he has no direct communication with the artist’s family or with official Egyptian authorities in France, whether the embassy or the consulate, which, in her view, strips his statements of credibility.

In another development that increased controversy and concern, the syndicate confirmed that the circulating photos of the artist from inside the hospital are “fake” and generated using artificial intelligence technologies, noting that his family is constantly by his side, with a complete ban on visits or photography, which further denies the validity of what is being shared on social media.

“False information”

Nadia Mostafa also stressed in her post that publishing inaccurate news about a patient in a serious health condition “lacks conscience, responsibility, and humanity,” due to its significant psychological impact on his family and fans, at a time when feelings of anxiety and prayers for his recovery are growing.

She concluded by confirming that Hany Shaker is still under close medical supervision after suffering a health setback due to respiratory failure, noting that there are still no confirmed signs of improvement in his condition so far, leaving him under intensive medical follow-up and continuous prayers for his safety.
