Yousef Al-Ghaith the late Kuwaiti actress Haya Al-Fahad’s manager has revealed for the first time details about her final days highlighting her private dignified battle with cancer away from media attention

He said her health crisis began in early 2024 when she was diagnosed with cancer which forced her to step back from acting for nearly a year before she unexpectedly decided to return to work despite worsening condition

Al-Ghaith quoted her explaining her decision saying “the disease is eating away at the body and work is my only way to ease the psychological pain”

He added she firmly rejected the idea of retirement seeing acting as her main emotional outlet and a way to cope with the illness and its effects

Her condition deteriorated significantly from mid 2025 as she gradually lost awareness and ability to communicate in advanced stages while her body stopped responding to treatment in her final week reaching a critical state

Medical staff informed her family she had entered end-of-life care two days before her death which was officially announced on Tuesday 21 April 2026

In previously undisclosed details he noted she refused isolation during chemotherapy sessions preferring to sit with other patients where she offered comfort especially to women and children while also carrying out quiet charitable work away from cameras and media coverage
