“His condition is critical” In the same context, his manager Khader Aknan stated in press remarks that what is being circulated on some platforms does not reflect the full picture of the artist’s condition, confirming that he is going through a delicate health stage described as critical, as he is receiving treatment in the intensive care unit under close medical supervision by a specialized team monitoring his condition moment by moment, within a treatment plan aimed at stabilizing his health.

On the official level, cultural authorities followed up on the artist’s condition, as the Egyptian Minister of Culture contacted his wife Nehal Tewfik to follow the latest developments and ensure proper medical care, while coordination was also made with the Egyptian ambassador in France to monitor his treatment inside the hospital.

The Ministry of Culture confirmed that it is closely monitoring the situation and providing full moral and official support to the artist and his family, in appreciation of his career and great status among Egyptian and Arab audiences, with wishes for a speedy recovery and a quick return to his artistic activity.

These developments come after the artist suffered a health setback due to respiratory complications that required placing him on ventilator support, despite earlier relative improvement, which increased concern and anticipation among his fans.
