Gold prices in the local market recorded a new decline on Monday across different carats, in a downward wave that directly affected both selling and buying prices, according to the pricing issued by the General Association of Owners of Jewelry and Goldsmith Shops.

The decline was not limited to the most in-demand carat, as 24-karat gold also fell, with the selling price dropping to 111.7 dinars after it was 112.6 dinars, a decrease of 0.9 dinars, while the buying price reached 107.5 dinars compared to 108.4 dinars.
