Inas Ezz El-Din: Symptoms worsened because I did not cancel Inas Ezz El-Din: My health deteriorated rapidly

Egyptian singer Inas Ezz El-Din revealed through her official Facebook account details of the sudden health crisis she suffered in recent days, which significantly worsened after she insisted on fulfilling her professional commitment despite her declining condition.

Ezz El-Din explained that just hours before the start of her Eid al-Fitr concerts, she began experiencing severe symptoms, including a strong cough that led to bleeding and chest pain, along with near-complete loss of her voice. She noted that her health deteriorated rapidly at a critical time.

Despite this, the artist chose to push herself and perform the scheduled concert, stressing that she did not want to cancel in order not to cause financial losses to organizers or affect the livelihood of her band members, especially as the season represents an important period for artistic work.

“Worsening of symptoms” However, this decision negatively impacted her health, leading to a further deterioration of her condition. This later forced her to apologize for not participating in the Cairo Opera House concert dedicated to the works of the late composer Baligh Hamdi, which was scheduled for Sunday, April 19, under the baton of Maestro Mustafa Helmy.

Ezz El-Din confirmed in her post that she is currently unable to sing, explaining that performing at the Cairo Opera House requires full readiness and deep respect for an audience that always expects excellence.

She added that after the success she achieved in her recent concerts, she cannot return to the prestigious stage unless she is in her best vocal and artistic condition.

She concluded her post by thanking her fans, colleagues, and mentors for their understanding and support, affirming that she will return to the stage soon once she fully recovers and regains her health.
