According to Egyptian media reports, her condition has been significantly affected by severe dehydration, in addition to respiratory issues and lung problems that caused acute difficulty in breathing. Her condition is being closely monitored by a specialized medical team working around the clock to stabilize her and prevent any possible complications, amid widespread prayers from colleagues in the artistic community and her fans for her speedy recovery.

An early journey with art

Sohair Zaki’s journey with art began at an early age, as she developed a passion for oriental dance in her childhood, despite initial objections from her family. Over time, she managed to carve her own path with determination, moving from Alexandria to Cairo, where she began her professional career and attracted attention through performances in “Adwaa Al-Masrah,” eventually becoming one of the most prominent names in the world of entertainment.

In cinema, she built a rich artistic legacy by participating in more than 50 works, in addition to her presence in television drama through series such as “Al-Qitt Al-Aswad” (The Black Cat) and “Fursat Al-Omr” (Chance of a Lifetime). Despite her great success, she chose in the early 1990s to step away from the spotlight after marrying photographer Mohamed Emara, dedicating herself fully to her family life.
