- Social media rumours trigger confusion over Haya Al-Fahad’s health
- Official sources confirm she is under treatment and deny death reports
Widespread rumours on social media over the past hours claiming the death of Kuwaiti actress Haya Al-Fahad have sparked confusion and concern among fans, prompting many to seek confirmation of the reports.
Her manager, Youssef Al-Ghaith, firmly dismissed the claims, saying in media statements that “the news of Al-Fahad’s death is completely untrue, and she is still receiving treatment under medical supervision at a hospital in Kuwait.”
He added that since her return from Britain in February, she has remained under close medical follow-up after an incomplete treatment journey following a stroke.
Mai Al-Eidan also addressed the rumours on Instagram, stating that “Al-Fahad is still alive and receiving treatment at a hospital in Kuwait,” and that “the actress is in good health and what is being circulated has no basis in truth,” urging the public to refrain from spreading rumours and instead pray for her recovery.
Al-Fahad suffered a stroke in August last year, which led to her hospitalisation in Kuwait before she was transferred abroad for treatment, returning later after the treatment programme was not completed.
