The White House was compelled to break its silence after widespread rumors circulated on social media Saturday regarding the health of 79-year-old President Donald Trump.

The official response came following several days in which the president had remained out of the public eye, fueling speculation about a possible hospital visit.

The White House’s X account posted: “Deranged liberals cook up insane conspiracy theories when the president goes 12 hours without speaking to the press. (They said nothing when Biden routinely went 12 days without speaking to the press.) Fear not! President Trump literally never stops working.”

The account also shared a post from CBS reporter Emma Nicholson, noting that a Marine guard was spotted outside the West Wing on Saturday evening—an indicator that the president was present inside.

White House Communications Director Steven Cheung added without directly addressing the rumors: “There has never been a president who has worked harder for the American people than President Trump. During this Easter weekend, he has been working nonstop in the White House.”

Trump was last seen publicly on Wednesday evening, and his unexpected absence from his usual weekend golf visits added to the speculation.

Meanwhile, the president remained active on Truth Social, posting nine updates throughout Saturday.
