Erçel appeared at the Forensic Medicine Institute in Istanbul, where she underwent medical procedures that included taking blood and hair samples, awaiting results that will determine her position in the case.

During questioning, the actress expressed her frustration over being included in the investigation, firmly denying that she had consumed any prohibited substances at any point in her life, stressing her commitment to a healthy lifestyle that aligns with her professional career.

The recent campaign, which included Erçel along with a number of well-known figures, involved investigating around 15 other individuals, including models, businessmen, and former officials in major sports clubs, over cases related to the use or facilitation of prohibited substances.

Prominent Names

The list included prominent names such as Gozide Duran and Didem Soydan, in addition to businessmen Hakan Sabanci and Kerim Sabanci, as well as former sports officials.

All those involved are undergoing similar medical procedures before completing investigations by the relevant authorities, with further legal measures to be determined based on the results.

These moves come as part of a series of ongoing campaigns launched months ago, which have revealed the involvement of several well-known figures in similar cases, alongside stricter legal actions against violators.

According to applicable laws, anyone proven to be involved in violations related to prohibited substances may face prison sentences, with the possibility of entering rehabilitation programs in certain cases under specific conditions set by judicial authorities.
