A video clip that spread rapidly shows the details of the incident, where the goalkeeper received the ball on his chest during the match. The ball continued toward another player, while the goalkeeper began to lose his balance before falling to the ground near his goal and passing away.

Failed Attempts

According to Turkish media, the goalkeeper is named Salahuddin Atli (48 years old), and he died during a match held at an amateur field in Kahramanmaraş in southern Turkey.

Sources added that the goalkeeper’s teammates immediately attempted to provide first aid on the field until emergency teams arrived, but their efforts to save him were unsuccessful after his heart stopped.
