The scene in Lebanon is no longer what it once was. Israeli airstrikes have brought back images of pain and destruction reminiscent of the Gaza Strip, where the sounds of explosions have blended with the groans of residents living in fear and panic, turning neighborhoods into spaces heavy with sorrow.

In mere moments, daily life has changed, and the sense of safety that once filled homes has vanished, replaced by a heavy fear that does not leave hearts.

Across Lebanon, displaced people walk with exhausted steps, carrying what they could salvage from their memories, leaving behind homes that no longer exist. Entire families have suddenly found themselves without shelter, taking refuge in schools and temporary centers, sharing tight spaces with similar stories of loss and uncertainty.

Stories beneath the rubble: the destruction is not just scattered stones, but lives built over years that ended under debris. Homes constructed with years of effort have been leveled, and small shops that once provided livelihoods have disappeared, turning into silent ruins that speak of immeasurable loss.

In every corner, the longing for what once was grows louder, as families stand before the ruins of their homes, trying to comprehend that years of effort have turned into debris. Despite the pain, many still hold on to a thin thread of hope that life will find its way back again.

Women, too, have stood strong—undaunted by war and rockets—refusing to remain helpless, confronting harsh realities and becoming symbols of patience and resilience.
