Britney Spears, 44, was seen Sunday in Malibu, California, following her arrest on charges of driving under the influence in Ventura County.

Her case is still being reviewed by the county district attorney’s office.

A spokesperson for the Ventura County District Attorney said, “The DUI case against Britney Spears has been submitted to our office and is currently under review by our team of prosecutors. The review may include requests for additional information and evidence, with a filing decision expected before the May 4, 2026, court date.”

In photos shared by a fan page on social media, Spears wore a long brown coat and black sunglasses, her long blond hair in waves, carrying a cellphone and a large orange bag.

Police had arrested Spears on March 4 after observing erratic driving, releasing her the following morning.

Her arrest came months after she was seen driving unpredictably following a night out with a friend.

Her manager, Cade Hudson, described the arrest as “an unfortunate and inexcusable incident,” emphasizing that Britney will take the right steps to comply with the law and receive support during this difficult time.

He added that her sons, 20-year-old Sean Preston and 19-year-old Jayden James, will spend time with her, and her family is working on a plan to support her well-being.

A source close to Spears said she is “devastated” by the arrest and that the experience “frightened her,” with her inner circle hoping that the outcome will be rehabilitation rather than jail.
