The video quickly turned into a public opinion issue, with activists expressing strong discontent over what was circulated, calling for accountability and strict measures to ensure the protection of children, especially in school transportation, which is supposed to be a safe environment.

Following the spread of the video, the spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate announced that security forces acted immediately upon detecting the clip, identifying the driver and his location before arresting him in a short time.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the girl in the video is the driver’s own daughter, while authorities confirmed that legal الإجراءات will be taken against him in accordance with the law.

The case has also been referred to the Family Protection and Juvenile Department to follow up on the case socially and within the family, ensuring the child’s safety and protection from any future harm.
