“A Highly Cunning Personality Acting with Remarkable Coldness” Investigations Indicated Her Behavior Showed a Dangerous Inclination Toward Violence

In a shocking case that has shaken public opinion in Brazil, authorities in the city of São Paulo are pursuing a 36-year-old woman studying law after she was suspected of being involved in a series of murders that occurred within five months and claimed the lives of at least four people.

According to security sources cited by AOL, investigators described the suspect as highly cunning and unusually cold in her behavior, while police chief Hallison Ediano stated that her conduct during the investigation revealed a dangerous tendency toward violence.

Investigations revealed that one of the crimes occurred in January 2025, when a dispute broke out between her and the landlord of the apartment where she lived, which ended with her stabbing him to death.

After the incident, she kept the body inside the apartment for several days, attempting to hide it with a sheet so that family members in the house would not notice it, until the situation was exposed due to the smell, prompting them to call the police.

She later admitted that she burned the sofa where the stabbing took place in an attempt to eliminate evidence of the crime.

Investigators also linked her to three other murders that took place between January and May 2025, where she allegedly targeted victims for financial motives or revenge.

Evidence indicates that she used rat poison in carrying out some of the crimes and even tested the poison on several dogs before using it.

One of the victims reportedly met her through a dating application and was later found dead in his apartment after having coffee with her.

Investigators also say she attempted to frame her former boyfriend, a military officer, by forging notes and preparing a poisoned cake in an effort to implicate him.

The case has drawn wide media attention due to the stark contrast between her seemingly ordinary life as a mother and law student and the shocking nature of the crimes she is suspected of committing. Authorities continue investigating possible additional victims and the full motives behind the killings.
