Accident Leaves One Dead and Eight Injured in Algeria

A traffic accident occurred following a violent collision between a truck and a passenger bus. The young victim is 26 years old.

One person lost their life, and eight others were injured with varying degrees of severity in a horrific road accident in Algeria on Saturday, according to local authorities. Reports indicated that the deceased is 26 years old, while the injured, aged between 20 and 40, were transported to the local hospital for treatment after receiving first aid at the scene. The victim’s body was also taken to the hospital’s morgue.

Severe Collision The accident occurred after a violent collision between a truck with a trailer and a bus carrying passengers on the Ghant–Constantine route, resulting in multiple injuries and fatalities.

Civil protection teams quickly arrived at the scene, working to clear the wreckage to reopen National Road No. 3 for normal traffic.

In related incidents, six people were injured in Sidi Khalifa in Mila Province, eight others in a chain collision in Ain Smara, El Khroub district of Constantine Province, and four people on the bypass road in Mostaganem Municipality.
