Confusion Among Crew After Fire Breaks Out Fire Quickly Controlled and Scenes Postponed

The ongoing Ramadan series set fires sparked concern once again, as a sudden fire broke out on the set of the series "Ali Clay", starring Ahmed El Awady, during the current drama season. The incident caused panic among the crew, especially with several actors present, including Yara El Sokkary, who experienced fear and panic upon seeing the flames.

The production team managed to control the fire quickly, and the director had to postpone some scenes and move to shoot another scene while new sets were being rebuilt to replace those damaged by the fire, putting the crew under significant time pressure.

Former Miss Egypt Reveals Why Her Scenes Were Cut

The series faced not only the fire incident but also a new controversy when Mai Zein, former Miss Egypt and a well-known Egyptian blogger, revealed why her scenes were completely cut from the series.

Mai Zein shared a video on her official Instagram account explaining what happened, saying: "I wasn’t planning to talk about anything, but you provoked me. Many people asked me: 'Are you in the series Ali Clay, Mai?' Yes, I am, and I didn’t post it because all my scenes were completely cut from the series."

She continued: "I was shocked while watching the series. I appeared silently, with no dialogue in my scenes—they were all removed. I said, ‘Why would I post anything? That I appear as an extra? You removed me completely.’"
