After rumors about his death spread in recent hours, the Egyptian Syndicate of Musical Professions moved quickly to reassure Hany Shaker’s fans about his health.

The syndicate stated in a Thursday announcement that Shaker’s condition is stable and has shown significant improvement in recent days thanks to ongoing medical supervision from specialized doctors, according to a post shared on his official Facebook account.

It added that he is expected to travel to France soon for further tests and a full medical check-up, following the recommendations of his medical team.

The syndicate expressed gratitude to everyone who inquired about his wellbeing, whether colleagues in the entertainment industry or fans across Egypt and the Arab world, wishing him a full recovery and a speedy return to his family and supporters.

Shaker’s wife, Nahla, also confirmed that his condition has improved and that he will travel to Paris to continue his treatment.

This clarification came after several celebrities and artists circulated false news of his death.

In response, the Syndicate issued an official statement denying the rumors, confirming that Shaker is alive, currently receiving treatment, and wishing him a swift recovery.

The artist had undergone a delicate surgery about two weeks ago to remove part of his colon and was admitted to intensive care at a private hospital in Giza.
