Man in His Forties Suffers Sudden Heart Attack on a Public Street "Video" Captures Tragic Incident Without Anyone Intervening

The death of a 48-year-old man sparked widespread outrage in Turkey after he suffered a heart attack while walking on a sidewalk in the city of Edirne, northwest Turkey, and collapsed in front of passersby and a parked taxi, without anyone stepping in to help.

The man, identified as Kemal Kolbelgi, fell near a taxi while its driver was inside a nearby office. Several pedestrians walked by, watching but continuing on their way. Within minutes, another taxi arrived, and its driver provided first aid, while another driver called emergency services. The medical team arrived, took the man to the hospital, but he later passed away.

A video documenting the moments of his collapse and the lack of assistance sparked anger from his family, who accused the passersby of lacking humanity.

The first taxi driver defended himself, saying he did not know how to handle a medical emergency, and noted that he informed his colleagues to call for help.

On social media, both pedestrians and taxi drivers who failed to assist faced a wave of criticism, amid calls emphasizing the importance of human solidarity in emergency situations.
