- Singer under close medical care, showing gradual improvement
The Egyptian Musicians’ Syndicate has dismissed all circulating rumors about the death of veteran singer Hany Shaker, confirming that his health is currently stable. He is receiving careful medical supervision following surgery to remove part of his colon.
A syndicate source told a local newspaper that Shaker has not yet fully recovered and still needs to remain in the hospital, but his condition is gradually improving.
Nadia Mostafa, a member of the syndicate’s board, said that a delegation led by Syndicate President Mostafa Kamel visited Shaker and confirmed his stable condition, denying all reports of his death and stressing that the rumors are baseless.
She urged social media users to exercise caution and respect the feelings of the singer’s family and fans before sharing any unverified information.
The board member concluded by wishing Shaker a speedy recovery, hoping he can return to his long-standing artistic career, which has established him as one of the leading figures in Arabic romantic music.
