Gold Prices Capture Jordanians’ Attention

Sale of 21-Carat Gold Hits 103.5 Dinars

Gold prices in the local market witnessed noticeable fluctuations, recording a slight decrease of 1.5 dinars per gram on Monday, according to the daily rates issued by the General Syndicate of Owners of Jewelry and Gold Shops.

This movement comes as citizens closely watch the shifts in the yellow metal’s prices, which remain one of the most important economic indicators directly affecting purchasing and investment decisions.

The sale price of one gram of 21-carat gold, the most sought-after in the local market, reached 103.5 dinars, compared to 98.70 dinars for buying.

As for the prices of one gram of 24-, 18-, and 14-carat gold, they reached 118.20, 91.80, and 71.70 dinars, respectively, according to jewelry shop rates.

Markets continue to monitor daily gold movements amid global fluctuations affecting local prices, prompting citizens to closely watch the market before making any purchasing or investment decisions.
