The young woman Yuris Cristel Camila Garcia Manrique, aged 28, tragically lost her life after falling from a ride at the “Entre Flores” amusement park in Chinacota, Colombia. The shocking incident occurred after she fell from a height of approximately 15 feet, leaving family, friends, and onlookers in grief.

Yuris, a mother to a four-year-old daughter, was seated on the giant ride last Thursday, according to La Prensa newspaper. Footage obtained by the paper shows her wearing a helmet, appearing hesitant before the ride, asking a staff member about safety. He reassured her, saying, “Don’t worry.”

However, during her descent, Yuris lost control and fell at a turn, hitting the ground as screams were heard from below the ride. She was rushed to Erasmo Meoz University Hospital in Cúcuta but sadly passed away en route, suffering severe injuries to her brain, abdomen, and chest, according to local reports.

The amusement park issued a statement on Instagram, confirming that emergency protocols were activated immediately after the incident. They expressed their heartfelt condolences to the victim’s family and assured full cooperation with authorities during the investigation.
