Rachel Toussi, the 47-year-old American TikTok star, tragically passed away following surgical complications after undergoing a tummy tuck, which she had documented for over 25,000 followers just days before the procedure.

On February 25, Rachel shared with her followers the details of her preparations for the surgery, appearing optimistic in her videos, saying: “Please pray for me. I know everything will be fine. I’ve waited for this for so long. I’m in safe hands, and God is with me.”

However, what was meant to be a routine cosmetic procedure turned into a tragedy, according to her husband, Jeremy Toussi. On March 3, he received an urgent call from the hospital reporting a serious problem, as Rachel had stopped responding, prompting the medical staff to attempt CPR.

Rachel was rushed to Trinity Health Bethesda North Hospital, where she was placed on life support. Doctors later informed her husband that she had gone more than six minutes without oxygen before being declared brain dead. A few days later, the family decided to remove the life support, ending the life of their beloved star who had shared so much of her life with her audience online.

The news of Rachel’s passing sent shockwaves through her followers and family. She leaves behind her husband, Jeremy, and their three children: Tristan, Alec, and Levi, amid widespread grief across social media.
