Nearly two decades after her last performance at the Giza Pyramids, global superstar Shakira is set to return to Egypt on April 7 for a one-night exclusive show.

The singer will perform as part of her world tour Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran, returning to the same venue she last visited in 2007.

Shakira shared a message with her fans on social media in Arabic, saying: "Hello, this is Shakira. I’m so happy to be performing in Giza, Egypt at the Pyramids… I love you all."

She will also take part in the Formula 1 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix on April 19, alongside international artists including Kygo and Pitbull.

Shakira has been announced as the headline act for the Offlimits Music Festival in Abu Dhabi, performing at Etihad Park on Yas Island on April 4, leading a full-day event with multiple stages and musical acts.

One of the world’s most prominent artists, Shakira has sold over 95 million records globally, won four Grammy Awards and 15 Latin Grammy Awards, and is the most-streamed female Latin artist of all time.
