A 12-year-old child, victim of his stepmother Suffered severe injuries after drinking boiling water

A 12-year-old boy died in a shocking incident in Sukabumi, southwest Indonesia, after being forced to drink boiling water, according to Indonesian authorities. According to the "Jakarta Post," the child died a few days ago after suffering severe injuries that caused widespread shock in the local community. Sukabumi Police Chief, Senior Commissioner Samian, stated that preliminary investigations revealed evidence indicating "alleged physical and psychological abuse" the child endured, confirming that the stepmother is the suspect in this horrific incident.

Physical and Psychological Abuse Nizan reported to the police that his stepmother forced him to drink boiling water, causing extensive burns on his body, permanent injuries to his lips and nose, internal damage to vital organs, as well as multiple injuries from severe impacts to his face. The police announced that the child’s father filed a report against his stepmother, and charges of physical and psychological abuse were filed against her under Indonesia's Child Protection Law. The stepmother is currently under investigation, with close monitoring by the relevant authorities.
