Incident Shocks South Korea Used "ChatGPT" to Commit Crimes

Authorities arrested a 21-year-old woman accused of murdering two men in a strange and calculated manner after relying on the "ChatGPT" app to guide her crimes, in an incident that shocked the nation.

According to authorities, the first victim was lured to a small hotel in the capital, where he was sedated with a deadly mix of sleeping pills and alcohol, resulting in his death. Weeks later, the woman repeated the same method with a second victim in another hotel, while investigations revealed a prior attempted murder dating back to December 2025.

Shocking Method

The most shocking aspect is that the woman used the "ChatGPT" app to determine lethal doses of medications, documenting questions about how to mix drugs with alcohol in a way that could cause death. After the first incident, she significantly increased the doses using strong medications such as Xanax and Valium.

Investigators confirmed that the woman was fully aware of the danger of her actions, prompting authorities to upgrade the charge to premeditated murder.
