- Model involved in boutique theft
- The heist lasted only four minutes
New York police arrested a fashion model and charged him with theft, burglary, and possession of stolen property following a robbery at a high-end boutique in Manhattan’s SoHo on December 1, 2025, local media reported.
The 21-year-old model was taken into custody on Thursday, February 19, and appeared in Manhattan Criminal Court, where he was released under supervision without bail.
According to online court records, he pleaded not guilty, and his next court date is scheduled for March 18.
The model and three other suspects are suspected of carrying out a rapid four-minute heist, fully captured on security cameras.
Police reports cited by media say the four allegedly stole 20 designer coats, 30 handbags, 20 belts, and other items.
Reports indicate all suspects were young men who arrived at the scene at 4:10 a.m., disguised as construction workers, according to sources.
The high-end boutique, according to its website, offers private showroom appointments. Its manager said in December: “We’re very strict here. The door isn’t open to everyone; you have to be buzzed in. They knew exactly what they were looking for.”
