Roya Live Broadcasts Maghrib Adhan from King Abdullah I Mosque with Awqaf Ministry

Roya, in cooperation with the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Holy Sites, announced daily live broadcasts of sunset and Maghrib prayers from the King Abdullah I Mosque throughout the holy month of Ramadan, offering a special spiritual coverage that brings the mosque’s atmosphere into Jordanian homes.
This initiative reflects Roya's commitment to providing responsible and reliable religious content, promoting tolerant Islamic values, and giving viewers a trusted source to follow the Maghrib call to prayer at its precise time, especially during Iftar.
The broadcasts will capture the serenity and reverence of sunset, leading up to the Maghrib Adhan from inside the mosque, presented daily by Dr. Ahmed Al-Akkour under the supervision of the Ministry of Awqaf, ensuring accurate prayer timing in line with the Prophet’s saying: “The Mu’adhin is trustworthy.”
Roya’s religious coverage, in collaboration with the Ministry, also includes live Friday prayers throughout the year, Taraweeh prayers during Ramadan, Qunoot supplications in the last ten nights, Laylat al-Qadr observances, Suhoor and Fajr prayer broadcasts, reflecting the diversity of religious programming and the channel’s dedication to delivering spiritual content to all segments of society.
