As part of this year’s Ramadan programming lineup, Roya TV has scheduled the new series Shaker… The Return of the Hero within its daily comedy hour, broadcast throughout the holy month of Ramadan.

The series presents a different dramatic format through a satirical lens, telling the story of Shaker, a former boxer who wakes up from a six-year coma caused by a knockout punch, only to find himself facing a new social and media reality in which values and relationships have changed, and social media platforms have created a new form of fame and stardom.

Personal conflicts As he tries to rebuild his life and return to the ring, Shaker is forced into a direct confrontation with a heavy past filled with defeats and postponed decisions, along with unresolved personal struggles and the re-emergence of an old love story. The journey blends gentle comedy with a sincere and realistic narrative.

The cast includes Youssef Jaaroun, Nadim Rimawi, Mohammad Nabulsi, Maria Alian, Lana Mushtaq, and Aram Sabah.
