gold prices in the local jordanian market fell unexpectedly on thursday evening, with the price of a single gram dropping by 3.7 dinars, according to the evening rates issued by the general syndicate of jewelry and gold craft shops.

according to the rates, the selling price of a 24-carat gold gram reached around 114.4 dinars, while the purchase price was 110.3 dinars. the 21-carat gram, the most traded in the market, sold for 99.8 dinars, with a purchase price of 95.3 dinars.

the 18-carat gram was sold at approximately 88.5 dinars, with a purchase price of 81.3 dinars, while the 14-carat gram sold at 69.2 dinars and purchased at 60.6 dinars.

this sudden drop has revived the gold trading index in the local market, attracting the attention of both citizens and investors alike.
