The details of the death of a 31-year-old Jordanian woman, who fell near the Wadi Al-Arab Dam area in Al-Shunah Al-Shamaliyah, continue to cast a heavy shadow over the town of Kafr Asad in particular, and over Jordanians in general.

Death was waiting for her. She had gone on a picnic with her child and her sister — calm moments that may have seemed ordinary, but suddenly turned into a tragedy that turned the family’s life upside down.

According to information received by Roya TV on Friday, the mother slipped while trying to help her son after he stumbled, fell, and died instantly. Her child and her sister sustained varying injuries.

The scene of loss was unbearably painful. The mother who left her home smiling and accompanied by her family never returned, leaving her little child to face the meaning of death for the first time.

Grief spread across the town of Kafr Asad, and social media users reacted to the incident with emotional messages, recalling the virtues of the deceased woman and expressing their appreciation for her love and care for her family.

Civil Defense teams from western Irbid immediately rushed to the scene, and rescue workers walked four kilometers on foot to reach the injured, in a scene where human effort mixed with a sense of helplessness in the face of nature’s power — which can be unforgiving in a moment that may otherwise seem ordinary.
