- Friends claim biggest win in EuroMillions draw
- Each participant will receive around€5.8 Million (Total €123 Million)
A group of 21 friends from the town of Zingem, Belgium, won the grand prizes in the EuroMillions lottery, taking home a massive €123 million (approximately $145 million).
The winning numbers (14, 18, 31, 35, 46, with stars 7 and 11) were verified at a local café, which also serves as a lottery sales point—the same place where the friends purchased their joint winning ticket.
Local media reported that the group, regulars at the café, routinely pool small amounts together to participate in EuroMillions draws, with each member contributing €5 for this entry.
The café owner, Redgy Taerwe, confirmed the win, noting that the group remained humble after their victory.
Each of the 21 winners will receive approximately €5.8 million (around $6.89 million).
Although their identities are known in the town, the friends have chosen to remain anonymous and have not yet decided how to spend the prize.
Taerwe said: "I think they all want to see the money in their accounts first before making any decisions."
He added that the winners have not indicated any intention to stop working for the time being.
