The Funeral of the Late Huda Shaarawi Amid a Wave of Grief The daughter of the late Huda Shaarawi appeared in a state of collapse during the funeral.

The body of the late Syrian actress Huda Shaarawi was carried out on Friday for her funeral prayers at Sheikh Badr Al-Din Al-Husseini Mosque, before being laid to rest at Bab Al-Saghir Cemetery, attended by family members, close friends, and Syrian actors, including Shukran Murtaja, Firas Ibrahim, and Ma’an Kossa.

During the ceremony, her eldest daughter Hiba was visibly distraught, with friends and relatives rushing to console and support her in this tragic loss.

The family announced that condolences would be received on Saturday and Sunday, for men at Dar Al-Saada Hall in Al-Mazza – West Villas – Tala Tower, and for women at Al-Umara Hall in New Zahra.

Syrian authorities revealed details of Shaarawi’s murder inside her home, resulting from an attack with a blunt object that caused severe bleeding by her Ugandan housemaid, who fled the scene before being apprehended later that same evening. The suspect admitted to committing the crime during initial investigations, while authorities continue to investigate the motives and circumstances before referring the case to the competent court.
