The global star Taylor Swift is trying to stay out of the spotlight after some of her private text messages with actress Blake Lively were made public, according to an American magazine.

The messages were part of the ongoing legal dispute between Lively and her former co-star in It Ends With Us, director Justin Baldoni, and his production company.

A source told the magazine, "Taylor felt her privacy was violated. Anyone would be uncomfortable if their private messages were suddenly made public."

The released court documents also included messages from several other celebrities, including Matt Damon and his wife Luciana, who exchanged texts with Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds about Baldoni and the film.

Last December, Lively filed a lawsuit against Baldoni, his company, and some of his associates, accusing him of harassment and a retaliatory smear campaign after she spoke out about the matter. Baldoni filed a counterclaim against Lively and Reynolds for defamation and extortion, which was later dismissed.

The source added that Taylor was simply a supportive friend to Lively and never expected her private messages to become public, noting: "Now, all Taylor wants is to stay away from any drama."
