Amid the disputes between soccer star David Beckham, his wife Victoria Beckham, and their eldest son Brooklyn, the latter’s wedding planner spoke out directly.

Brooklyn, the eldest child of David and Victoria, recently issued a strong statement announcing that he had cut ties with his famous parents, noting that his wedding had been at the center of the family feud.

However, the wedding planner at the time, Preston Bailey, told a newspaper, “I was surprised by that.”

Brooklyn had previously claimed that his mother Victoria interrupted his first dance with his wife Nicola Peltz and abruptly canceled plans for her wedding dress, adding that his parents pressured him to give up rights to his name.

In response, Preston Bailey, who organized Brooklyn and Nicola’s wedding, stated that he did not sense any behind-the-scenes tension at all.

He said, “It’s surprising to me that Brooklyn would take this stance against his parents. The person I met was not like that—he was kind and gentle, a normal person who treated everyone with respect and spoke warmly with people. I always considered him polite and decent. There was absolutely no tension.”

He added, “I don’t recall Nicola being under any pressure; I remember a lot of affection between them.”

He also explained, “Any design was first shown to Nicola, but it was important to get Brooklyn’s approval. She didn’t want to do anything without it.”

Bailey has previously worked with global celebrities such as Oprah Winfrey, Mariah Carey, Uma Thurman, and Michael Douglas.

Brooklyn Beckham himself acknowledged a conflict with his parents, saying, “I don’t want to reconcile.”

Brooklyn and Nicola held their wedding in April 2022 in Florida, U.S. Amid the family feud, the couple renewed their vows in August of last year, stating that it was very meaningful to them.
