The Hawara area in Irbid Governorate witnessed a tragedy that turned an entire family’s life upside down after a fire broke out in a small tent that had been sheltering them.

Four children, aged between 6 and 9, lost their lives after suffering severe burns, leaving behind an irreplaceable void and a family drowning in grief.

The spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate said that specialized firefighting teams from East Irbid Civil Defense quickly responded to the blaze, which broke out in a tent measuring about 50 square meters, but the flames were too intense to control before the casualties occurred.

He added that emergency teams transported the deceased children to the hospital, while authorities launched an urgent investigation to determine the cause of the fire and the circumstances surrounding it.

As the investigation continues, the local community remains in mourning, remembering the four children who passed away before they ever had the chance to play and laugh.
