The mother of the late Riham Assem, the Egyptian stylist and celebrity coordinator, revealed a shocking surprise regarding her daughter’s death, pointing fingers at a prominent hospital in the Mohandessin area of Giza, citing what she described as medical negligence.

The mother explained that Riham received a cortisone injection for pain relief without undergoing an allergy test, which caused her health to deteriorate rapidly. She emphasized that rumors about her daughter’s death being caused by vaping or e-cigarettes are baseless, stressing that the crisis started after receiving the medical injection.

"Pain after the injection" The mother also revealed the suffering Riham endured inside the hospital, saying her daughter screamed in severe pain after the injection and received no response from the medical team, which led to complications causing fluid to fill her lungs, according to her mother.

She added that Riham felt she was about to die and repeatedly asked to be discharged from the hospital, feeling her life was in imminent danger.

Riham Assem had previously fallen at home, resulting in a quadruple ankle fracture and injuries to her arm and neck. She was transferred to a hospital in Mohandessin, where she received a cortisone injection. After leaving the hospital, her health deteriorated, necessitating her transfer to the intensive care unit in another hospital, where she ultimately passed away.

Upon the announcement of her death, the news caused a major shock among her friends and colleagues in the artistic community, who mourned her with heartfelt messages on social media, including Radwa El Sherbiny, Mohamed Ali Rizk, and others, expressing their sorrow at her sudden loss.
