Reports indicate that star Kim Kardashian has applied to register a trademark linked to her daughter North West’s name, paving the way for potential entertainment products under the brand.

Targeted categories include toys, dolls, play sets, puzzles, party games, and puppets.

It is noted that filing the application does not necessarily mean products are ready or a launch date is set, but it grants Kardashian the legal right to use the name “North West” in these categories if she chooses to proceed.

Media outlets reported that U.S. Patent and Trademark Office records show Kardashian first filed the trademark in 2023, with some stages extended through her attorney, and the application remained pending as of September 2025.

North already has a growing portfolio of work, appearing in projects linked to her father Kanye West and voicing a character in a 2023 animated film.

Despite her successes, she has faced criticism over Kardashian’s parenting style, especially when critics perceive her daughter as looking older than her age.

Kardashian commented on the criticism in a podcast: “It’s interesting, all the kids wear the same clothes, but when my daughter tries it, I say, ‘We’re never wearing that again.’”

So far, no toys or products bearing the North West name have hit the market, but if the trademark is approved, Kim Kardashian would have the option to build a merchandise line under her daughter’s name.
