Mazen Al-Natour: Ayman Reda is a true son of Syria Mazen Al-Natour: Granting Ayman Reda citizenship is a fair matter

Artist Mazen Al-Natour, head of the Syrian Artists Syndicate, said that artist Ayman Reda deserves to obtain Syrian citizenship, affirming his full support for Reda’s request for this unquestionable right.

Al-Natour pointed out in media statements that Ayman Reda is considered a true son of Syria, and granting him citizenship is logical and fair, especially since millions of Syrians who were forced to live abroad have obtained foreign citizenships.

Al-Natour added: "I fully welcome Ayman Reda’s request to obtain Syrian citizenship, as this is his right," stressing that granting artist Shokran Mortaja Syrian citizenship was a correct step, and that Reda deserves the same recognition and appreciation.
